I’m Valerieh, I’m 18, and I’ve reached the point where I automatically hear a beat in almost everything... the washing machine, footsteps, someone tapping a table, even the microwave somehow sounds like it’s starting a concert. Give me five seconds and I’m already making up choreography that probably looks much cooler in my imagination. I spent years training as a professional dancer, so standing completely still feels suspicious. If my foot is tapping, my shoulders are moving, or I randomly spin while walking through a doorway... don't worry, that's just my default mode. Sometimes I catch my reflection and realize I've been dancing without noticing. Apparently my body signed a lifetime contract with rhythm long before my brain had a chance to vote.

People keep telling me I have way too much energy... I prefer to think I simply ordered the deluxe edition with no off button. I laugh louder than I probably should, talk with my hands like I'm directing invisible traffic, and somehow manage to turn the most ordinary day into a tiny adventure. A quick trip to the grocery store becomes a mission, a walk turns into an exploration, and waiting in line somehow becomes entertaining because my imagination never takes a day off. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories, and jumping from completely normal conversations to wonderfully random ones. One minute we're discussing favorite snacks, the next we're debating whether penguins secretly have their lives more together than humans. My brain follows its own choreography... and honestly, I've learned it's much more fun not to interrupt it.

Sports somehow sneaked into my life too, because apparently dancing wasn't enough cardio. One day I thought, "Maybe I'll try working out..." and now I voluntarily wake up early to exercise. I still don't fully understand how that happened. I love anything that keeps me moving, whether it's a workout, stretching, hiking, running, or simply taking the longest possible route home because the weather feels too nice to waste indoors. My idea of relaxing usually involves... more movement. Yes, I know that's slightly concerning. My kitchen has also become an unofficial concert arena where I perform dramatic routines while waiting for food to cook. My audience usually consists of one very confused chair, a water bottle, and occasionally a houseplant that has seen far more performances than it ever asked for. Thankfully none of them have left negative reviews... at least not yet.

If there's music nearby, I'll find it. If there isn't... I'll probably start humming until someone accidentally joins in. Every playlist feels like a different adventure, and every song somehow convinces me I'm starring in my own movie for the next three minutes. Dancing isn't something I decide to do... it's simply part of who I am. I can happily repeat the same move a hundred times until it finally feels right, then celebrate like I just won a championship. Outside the dance studio, I still look for little reasons to smile. A great workout, a perfect sunset, discovering a new favorite song, or catching something before it hits the floor... yes, those absolutely deserve their own victory dance.
